Introduction to Empowering Coach Tools

We suggest you learn these empowering coach tools in sequence. Each lesson builds on the previous lessons. What you learn in earlier lessons also applies to your current lesson. This is the easiest way to learn these empowering tools -- doing it step by step.

If you don't understand what you're reading, the best thing to do is go back to the earlier lessons and practice those tools again.

The second best thing is to practice the empowering coach tool you're currently studying.

The more you practice any coach tool, the easier it becomes.

Every coach tool has a starting position. Return to that position and start over. In this starting position, completely relax, and tell the tool to show you a yes. For example:

The starting position for the pendulum is suspended and not moving. In this starting position tell the pendulum to show you a yes. Then wait and observe. Eventually, the pendulum will move. As it moves, it is telling you this means strength, positive, yes and/or true. Return to the starting position and ask the pendulum to show you a no. Then wait and observe. This new movement means weakness, negative, no or false. If you get the same movement for no that you received for yes, accept that movement for yes and ask the pendulum to show you a no. Repeat if necessary until you get a new movement that mens no.

The starting position for the body compass or body lean is standing or sitting erect. In this position tell your body to show you a yes. Then wait and observe. Eventually, your body will move forward or backward, from side to side, diagonally one way or the other, or either clockwise or counterclockwise. As it moves, it is telling you this means strength, positive, yes, and/or true. Then return to the starting position and ask your body to show you a no. Wait and observe. Eventually your body will show you a new movement that means weakness, no, negative or flase. You may need to repeat this process utill you know what movement means strength and positive and what movement means weakness and negative.

The starting position for the other empowering coach tools is described in each lesson. Normally that start position turns out to be strong and positive for 80% of the population. Breaking that position is weak and negative for thatpopulation. About 20% of the population will find the opposite is true for them.

If you are ever in doubt, always return to the standing position and ask the tool to show you a strong or positiove response.
